Stunning views and comfortable bamboo beds. The owner provided helpful tips for exploring Cabo de la Vela. The sound of birds in the morning was delightful. I would recommend this place for a peaceful retreat. Overall I'll recommend this hostel for a serene getaway.

The value for money at Journey was fantastic! Our room, the Lovers Den, had the most incredible view of the wild jungle and the sunset was simply unforgettable. The staff treated us like family and gave us great tips for exploring the area, including a unique walk through the jungle called the monkey walk. It felt like a true adventure being surrounded by nature without the crowds.
The food for breakfast could have been better - just a small improvement needed there.

I recently stayed at The Journey Hostel for a night and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The pool was amazing and provided a great place to relax and cool off. The dinner served at the hostel was tasty and the communal atmosphere made it easy to socialize with other guests. I also loved that they provided free water and the location was convenient, just a 20-minute walk from the Tayrona entrance. it was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.
Can recommend this hotel.

Amazing jungle views and helpful staff made for a fantastic stay. The food was delicious and the group dinners created a great atmosphere. It was also convenient to have the option to order extra food for affordable prices. The location was also a plus, with easy access to the nearby national park and beautiful pool overlooking the valley.
The standard room was not soundproof and the noise from passing trucks was disruptive during the night. the wifi was not reliable for work purposes, although it worked well enough for basic communication.

I had an incredible stay at this hidden gem in Colombia. The hostel's design and natural materials gave it a unique and authentic vibe. My private room had a balcony overlooking the mountains, providing a breathtaking view. The warm breeze and mosquito net made for a comfortable night's sleep. The staff were super welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The founder's dedication to creating a paradise in the jungle was evident in every detail. The food served was delicious, especially the fish tacos and burritos. I also enjoyed the nightly games, like beer pong and charades, which made it easy to meet and chat with fellow travelers. The views from the pool and bar area were simply amazing. Despite a few drawbacks, like noise from the nearby road and ongoing construction, I would still highly recommend this hostel for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

I had an amazing stay at a hostel in a beautiful location. The pool was great for cooling off and the sunset views were absolutely spectacular. The hostel had mosquito nets, hammocks, and big social spaces, making it easy to meet other travelers. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the place was spotlessly clean. The free breakfast was good, but there were also additional options available for a fee. Dinner at the hostel was delicious and reasonably priced. it was a great place to relax and meet fellow travelers.
Although my stay was wonderful, there was a small hiccup with my laundry, which left stains on my clothes. However, it didn't significantly impact my overall experience.

During my Easter stay, I absolutely loved the stunning views from the pool area overlooking the valley. It was breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. the staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. One more advantage I enjoyed was the option to order extra food for very affordable prices, which allowed me to indulge in delicious meals without breaking the bank.
One of the downsides I experienced was that the standard rooms, although charming with their hut-like design, didn't fully close. This resulted in being able to hear trucks driving by throughout the night, which disrupted my sleep.

The Journey Hostel offers a chill vibe and a perfect location for visiting Tayrona Park. the pool with a view is amazing, and the hostel is in the middle of the jungle. the food is good, and they have happy hours. the personnel organizes daily activities, and the family dinners are super nice. It's an amazing place to relax, and the view is absolutely incredible. Great value for money, with a younger crowd and a happy atmosphere. It's also close to the base camp for the Lost City trek.
Felt like royalty, nothing too much trouble.

I recently stayed at a lovely hostel nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by breathtaking views. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The dorms were comfortable and equipped with plenty of plug outlets, and the bathrooms were cute, although they didn't have locks. The included breakfast consisted of delicious granola, fresh fruit, and tea and coffee, providing a great start to the day. I also enjoyed the social atmosphere and the opportunity to meet fellow travelers during the family-style dinners. The pool was a refreshing retreat, although a few more sunbeds would have been appreciated. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the lack of vegan options for dinner and the need for additional steps on the bunk bed ladder, overall, I would highly recommend this hostel for its stunning location, friendly staff.
